Move Mind Nourish was founded by Kirsty, our lead Counsellor & Therapist, who recognised the need for a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. With experience in mental health and nutrition for wellness, Kirsty brings a unique set of skills to assist clients in reaching their goals. 

Kirsty's practice takes a client-centered approach to counselling and acknowledges that clients are the experts in their own lives. Knowing that the journey toward mental wellness can often be a lonely one, she partners with clients to assess their individual needs, set goals, and work collaboratively to achieve them.

Kirsty works with clients on a range of issues including;

Anxiety

OCD

Stress

Loss and Grief

Depression

Distorted Relationships with Food & Exercise

Autism Spectrum Disorder, cooccurring anxiety & PDA

Kirsty makes use of a range of evidence based practices including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Exposure Techniques, Psycho-education, Mindfulness and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).  

Kirsty is a fully registered and accredited Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers.

Kirsty offers support to Plan and Self Managed NDIS participants as well as private clients.
